Founded on a lifetime of design

Gilded Bee Stationery was founded by Elizabeth Monroe. After earning her degree in graphic and fine arts, Elizabeth spent more than sixteen years as the owner and creative director of a graphic design agency, followed by years of professional creative and design work. Gilded Bee represents a return to the things she has always loved most about design: illustration, typography, beautiful paper, craftsman printing, and the permanence of something thoughtfully created in print.

Today, that experience shapes the creative direction of Gilded Bee and the work our studio produces today.
